„One loves the sunset, when one is so sad.“

-„I love sunsets. Let’s go and watch one now…“

-„But you must wait…“

“One day,“ you said to me, „I saw the sunset forty-four times!“

And a little later you added:

„You know— one loves the sunset, when one is so sad…“

„Were you so sad, then?“ I asked, „on the day of the forty-four sunsets?“

But the little prince made no reply.”

― Antoine de Saint Exupéry

What do you love doing that moves you so deeply?

What is it that gives you comfort when your heart has to carry a burden?

What dries your tears when you feel lost and alone?

Is it this little flower swaying softly in the gentle breeze?

Is it the colours of the rainbow that paints a picture in the sky?

Is it the birds flying effortlessly into a horizon full of lightness and ease?

Is it the ocean that plays the song of your heart with the waves rolling onto the shore?

Is it the sun that warms your face like a loving embrace?

Sometimes you have to wait for the solace to come but it will arrive when you dare to wait, dare to trust that your time will come.

You have not been forgotten.

Adjust your chair, your posture a bit and then you will see the sun.

You will see the flowers in the wind, the birds flying over the waves.

And with the last rain a rainbow shows up in the sky.

Become still and wait just a moment longer.

Can you see how the sun sinks slowly into the ocean?

Can you feel that the red, sparkling waves take all your sadness away?
