What is most important to you in your life?

Sometimes it feels as if the days run by. You go through your day more or less on autopilot, through your daily tasks that you have learned to fulfill a long time ago. You don’t question them. Everything is deeply rooted in your subconscious mind.

In the modern world so much is scheduled into calendars, meetings, workflows, the latest productivity hacks, tips and tricks on how to get even more done are all over the place.

Do we even know why we want to check all these things from our to-do-lists?

Why do they make it even on these lists in the first place?

I want to invite you to stop for a moment and answer only this one question:

What is most important for you in your life?

Don’t read further.

Set a timer for 10 minutes and write your answer. Write 10 minutes without stopping and after the 10 minutes underline this one sentence, this one word that is most important to you.

What is most important to me in my life is….

And then you go from there.

That is your intention, your daily mantra, your why, your compass you are guided by.

What is on your to-do-list that expresses this sentence?

What do you do in your daily life to experience your intention?

How much time do you create for your most important feeling in life?

Yes, everything comes down to how you want to feel. Do you want to feel free, connected, loved, understood, joyful, abundant, fulfilled?

You can’t find this outside of you. I personally had to learn this the hard way but it’s true what they say: You have to find it within.

No one makes you free or fulfilled or loved. Only you can do this.

Start today by slowing down. Liberate yourself from goals and success that aren’t yours. They seem only so familiar and tempting because you have rushed through life and numbed the voice of your heart.

Slow living is getting your truth back, the truth of what your heart wants you to live by.

Listen to this voice that can only be heard by you:

The most important thing to me in my life is…
